I already wrote about the JAM-Session, in the De Boerderij in several other previous blog posts
The Leader of the Band
The Pianist is somebody that I had seen perform somewhere before,
many years ago. Somebody that Plays both Piano and Trumpet, and
also does Singing and Presenting as well.
Not really knowing what to expect
from such a JAM-Session, did make me feel somewhat
like the Sand Yachting Experience I had some time ago with
windspeeds 6-7 that I wrote about
on my Travel Blog.
Luckely I became a little less stressed about it,
when I heared that we would play together
as a group first.
First Playing as A Group
He told that after the Break amung others the Mouthorgans, Saxophones etc.would have an opportunity to play as a group. Making it feel
a little less out of my comfort zone to play.
Only during the Playing itself I also had some obstacles
to overcome, first of all I had a 'Jammed Mouthorgan',
and I had a little trouble of hearing myself above the
other instruments, especially hearing the lower notes,
so I played a litte more high notes to be able to
hear myself.
The Anouncement
First we played together to 'test the waters' so to say
and than our names where anounced
for playing our Solos,
