Learned Something About (Vocal) Melody and How it Relates to Songwriting.



Thank you for still going to that previous post about 'Melody First' 


Showing your interest in this topic, because it got me thinking about it, 
Resulting in my recent New post titled:

in that Post Showing a Work-Flow 

for the Songwriting Process....? ? ? 


In that post I also provided a link to a Video about The Wonderful Limitations of Your Vocal Melody Giving an interesting insight into the Songwriting Process,

Showing an acual Work-flow for it that Starts with the Instrumentation, that creates the basis for creating a Vocal Melody (on the Hook) Basically looking at what you can do Vocally with your Voice that sounds good together with a certain Instrumentation...? 

(in my own words) 'Offering 'a space' for your Phrasing', than make up Words or Sylables just to make a (Vocal) Melody (I do believe that you could 'Free styling' your way here, or else like Scatting, 

if you don't (yet) get instant inspiration for actual meaningful words)


Interesting approach...! 

Also Singer Katie Perry talks about 
such a type of Melody as you can see in
