Last Saterday I went to a Toots Thielmans Tribute Concert

Performed by Hermine Deurloo
& Mike Boddé & Frans van der Hoeven
in 'Theater De Boerderij' in Huizen.

Besides Guitar and Piano, I also frequently practice
Playing on my own (Chromatic) Mouthorgan myself
with Our Little Music Group

At the perfomance in Theater De Boerderij I noticed
that while I also can play soft, I usually am inclined to mainly blow
pretty hard on it with great intencity. Hemine has
a much more controlled air flow.

It is Inspring to hear that there is a wide array
of room between ON and OFF :)
Their performance was a great Tribute to Toots Thielemans,
with a variety of his music, with amung other things the

Famous TV-tune from the
Dutch TV-series Baantjer a TV series that has run for years on Dutch Television. (it actually is a TV series

that I once weirdly enough

got a tiny 'Part' in as an Extra! when they filmed in our Class-room at our School)

It was pretty special to See Actor Piet Römer (famous from TV) standing for our Class Room.

So it's not that after that I imidiately expected Casting Agencies to make me an instant Movie-star, however come to think of it, at that time I actually did know somebody that did get a leading role in an actual

Big Screen Movie Production !

For me living near Hilversum ('Hillywood') where the Broadcasting Stations are it was not that unusual to spot people known from Film and TV, infact at that time I also had one of my Teachers that was known from TV.

They also performed amung other things the TV-tune from
the Sitcom Stanford and Sons that brought back
many memories.

It was real Great music Listening, The accompanying Piano and the Base Sounded Smooth and if Playing is Effortless to them.
