Personally I wasn't yet that familiar with these particular Songwriters probably because I am not specifically that well known in the area of Country Music. 

However they do share some interesting things about Songwriting. Like for example that some of them like the Process of Co-Writing

Learned Something About (Vocal) Melody and How it Relates to Songwriting.



Thank you for still going to that previous post about 'Melody First' 


Showing your interest in this topic, because it got me thinking about it, 
Resulting in my recent New post titled:

in that Post Showing a Work-Flow 

for the Songwriting Process....? ? ? 


In that post I also provided a link to a Video about The Wonderful Limitations of Your Vocal Melody Giving an interesting insight into the Songwriting Process,

Showing an acual Work-flow for it that Starts with the Instrumentation, that creates the basis for creating a Vocal Melody (on the Hook) Basically looking at what you can do Vocally with your Voice that sounds good together with a certain Instrumentation...? 

(in my own words) 'Offering 'a space' for your Phrasing', than make up Words or Sylables just to make a (Vocal) Melody (I do believe that you could 'Free styling' your way here, or else like Scatting, 

if you don't (yet) get instant inspiration for actual meaningful words)

Making Music with Our Little Music Group



Recently I joined a little Music Group with weekly meetings to talk about Music
and also actually making some Music together. We also talk about Music repertoire
and about songs we like, or talk about melodies and song lyrics we made.


Songwriting:

I also made some notes about Songwriting, writing down some lyrics now and than, and
for some time I have been collecting info about Songwriting from those notes,

I noticed that many Songwriters start with a Melody that has a certain - feel -
and later on develope lyrics that fit that feel, while I seem to have been
doing it the other way around.

So possibly this might be an interesting other approach
to experiment with.

Music and Lyrics a FUN Movie About Songwriting and (Your Music Making) Set-Up.

 

In my recent post I wrote about Co-Writing 

(also Showed you some actual Samples of my Co-Writing in a different area than Songwriting) and, 


that Co-Writing can make the process of

Songwriting more Fun. 


In the E-Report Songwriters on Songwriting one of the writers talked about that he loves writing at his own place, with Good 


Coffee, and his own Instruments etc. 

This made me aware of 

the Importance of having a Special Place 

where you Feel Like Making Music. It reminded me of 

this FUN Movie with Huge Grand and 

Drew Barymore you see the MOVIE-Trailer here below:    


In this Movie there also is some attention to the 'Music Making Set-up', or in that case the Re-placement of the Piano. For some time I didn't really feel like playing so I also had an other look at my own 'Studio Set-up' aswell, and Re-placed some things, and I also discovered that with not turning on the 'Big Lights', the Lighting Feels a little more Cosy,  In an effort to create a good Workspace I do think there still are Plenty of Challenges and there still is - ROOM - for Improvement.....,

Somewhat Reminds me of The Time When I Worked at a 
Big Record-/Entertainment Company, 
 
It Reminds me of 
the type of 'Hang Out' at the Wisseloort Studio's in Hilversum, 
where (Rock) Musicians could Hang Out after Playing in the Studio.

 (and Occasionally I myself after doing things like 
- As a Creative Sales Support Employee -   

and Looking Through the Photo Archive from the 
Record Company in that Same Building)  


I Actually Did Discover some Photo's from the Wisseloord Studios, 
and from Lenny Kravitz in the Wisseloord Studio,

The Studio's Themselves Sometimes Seem to Look Somewhat like on the Bridge of a 



from a Star-Trek MOVIE !


The Wisseloort Studios are known for their suitability for - ROCK - Music, and in Our Music Twitter-list I discovered this Tweet that Sounds like an Example of Rock Music to Me:

One of the Blog Post Topics On this Music Blog you Like the Most is about 'Melody First'


On my blogs I am taking Inventory, looking at some of the Blog posts, 
and Blog post Topics you like the most. 

One of our blog posts that generated a lot of Interest 
On this blog is our post titled: 




I wrote about Songwriting on this Blog in multiple posts before, 
Songwriting is also actually something that I occasionaly experiment with doing myself. 


Only as you can read about on my Writing Blog, I frequently WRITE, doing things like 


Possibly that's why with Songwriting I still seem to be somewhat Inclined to First Start with the Text Lyrics instead of with 'Melody First' like many Songwriters seem to do.

 (Like for example Pop Artist Katy Perry tells about her 
 Songwriting Process in the Video you see 

While as you might know I play amung others Mouthorgan Just playing along with for example Music on TV or Radio, Together with Others like with Our little Music Group, (with the Occasional (Online) Orchestra) or occasionally in actual JAM-sessions etc. etc. 

Since I also occasionaly Attempt to Provide Harmony by Playing Chords and attempt to play some Piano, and Guitar, 'Melody First' also must be something that I can do an experiment with if I happen to get Inspiration for something like that. 

When I do get Inspiration for it, I will probably write about it in my Music Journal, 
as you can also read about in a previous post titled:

Some More About 'Melody First'.


I am still thinking about Playing Chords and possibly producing something like a Melody, 


As I recently wrote about in my post titled: 


  One of the Blog Post Topics 

On this Music Blog  

you Like the Most is about 'Melody First' 

 

A Successful post that had many of you read.


 As you know I wrote about Songwriting on this Blog in multiple posts before, 

Songwriting is also actually something that I occasionaly experiment with doing myself. 


Only as you can read about on my Writing Blog, I frequently WRITE, doing things like 

Journaling, (for example for taking notes about my Music Developement), Writing Blog Posts, Tweets & Postcard Messages and even Writing Serial Twitter Tweets etc. etc.

Possibly that's why with Songwriting I still seem to be somewhat Inclined to First Start with the Text Lyrics instead of with 'Melody First' like many Songwriters seem to do.




In an other previous post I wrote about Birds Singing in a post titled: 



They don't seem to have difficulties with producing Melodies at all ! ;)


I was thinking, why wouldn't I be able to produce some great sounding Melodies aswell....? 

So today I like to do a little more research into this process and I actually did have an other look at the link to a blog from Graham Cochrane from Recording Revolution that 
I Provided in this 



 So I am going to have an renewed look at this and
